I can remember it vividly, the first day I sat in my spare room turned home office as a free woman. Free from corporate life. Free from my 4 hour daily commute. Free from the job that had taken so much out of me.
I felt giddy and excited but also terrified that I wouldn’t be cut out for freelancing and working for myself and that’d I’d have to go and get a proper job.
I didn’t really know how I was going to make this work. I only knew that I wanted to figure it out. I didn’t want to go and work for anyone else again, so I had to find a way.
And, I did find a way. Here I am, on my 2 Year Business Birthday, still sat at the same desk, still profitable and in business, still acknowledging how grateful I am that I am free.

You will KNOW deep in your soul when its your time to take the leap. Don’t worry that you’re not there yet, just keep moving yourself closer each day, bit by bit. It took me months of agonising and making up excuses before I finally lept.
